About the webinar
As part of the LIFE Programme project REVERTER, WIT Berry was responsible for planning, organising, and delivering a key thematic webinar focused on energy efficiency and the establishment of One-Stop-Shops (OSS). The aim of the event was to showcase the project’s practical achievements — including the development of four digital OSS platforms and the operational example of the Riga OSS — and to share real-world case studies, implementation experiences, and training efforts for municipal staff. The webinar played a central role in raising awareness and demonstrating how municipalities and other stakeholders can establish their own OSS models.
What did WIT Berry team do?
WIT Berry team was responsible for the communication campaign of the webinar, management and planning of the event.
The Challenge
The challenge was to design an event that would clearly communicate the value and functionality of the OSS concept to a diverse but targeted audience — including municipalities, policymakers, stakeholders from related projects, and others considering similar solutions. The content needed to strike the right balance between technical detail, practical insight, and strategic value, while also being accessible and engaging to a non-expert audience.
The Outcome
WIT Berry approached this challenge with a structured process built on our best practice model for EU project events. We worked closely with the REVERTER team and webinar speakers to ensure smooth coordination, consistent messaging, and relevant content. Our planning covered all aspects — from developing the agenda and digital presence to running a targeted communication campaign. This ensured the webinar not only ran seamlessly, but also reached and resonated with the intended audience.
The tasks that WIT Berry's team implemented
Webinar planning
We created a detailed plan for the webinar, outlining the agenda, presentation flow, and responsibilities of each speaker. We also developed a communication strategy to coordinate both internal planning and external promotion. Our involvement ensured consistency in the messaging and clarity in the overall structure.
Website - landing page
A dedicated landing page was developed for the webinar, where attendees could register and find all relevant information — including the agenda, speaker introductions, and background on the OSS concept. The page provided an informative and user-friendly experience, functioning as a central hub for all promotional efforts.
Social media campaign
We implemented a social media campaign across relevant platforms to raise awareness about the event. Posts highlighted the webinar topics, introduced the speakers, and communicated the practical value of attending. The campaign successfully drove registrations and built anticipation within the energy efficiency and public sector communities.
Other activities
To broaden outreach, we collaborated with project partners to promote the webinar through their channels — including newsletters, website updates, and direct outreach. We also prepared a press release targeting networks and media outlets focused on climate action, energy, and municipal innovation.
Post-event activities
Following the event, we ensured the content continued to reach interested audiences. All presentations were recorded and published on Youtube so that people who could not attend the webinar can still watch them. They are also published on the website and shared on social media. These resources offer long-term value for those seeking practical insights into OSS development and implementation.
