About the webinar

As a communication partner in the Horizon Europe-funded project SALTO, WIT Berry was responsible for planning and delivering the very first webinar of the project. This online event was not just an introduction — it served as the foundation for all future webinars, setting the tone, format, and strategic direction for how the project and its partners would communicate their work. The goal was to present the overarching aims of SALTO while also creating a structured, engaging way to showcase each partner’s contribution throughout the project timeline.

What did WIT Berry team do?

WIT Berry team was responsible for the communication campaign of the webinar, management and planning of the event.

The Challenge

The key challenge was to design and coordinate a virtual event that would be both content-rich and easy to follow. With several partners involved and multiple key messages to deliver, it was essential to streamline the presentation flow, manage speaker input effectively, and ensure all elements worked together to present a unified vision of the project’s goals. Balancing technical precision with audience engagement was critical to success.

The Outcome

WIT Berry approached this task methodically. Drawing on our extensive experience in organising EU-level events and webinars, we followed a proven process based on our best practice guide. This structured approach enabled smooth collaboration with all speakers and project partners. It also ensured we could run an effective communication campaign in parallel — promoting the event to the right audiences and reinforcing the SALTO project's key messages before, during, and after the webinar.

The tasks that WIT Berry's team implemented

Webinar planning

We developed a comprehensive plan for the webinar, including its structure, flow, and agenda. Alongside this, we created a detailed communication roadmap — aligning internal coordination with external promotion. The planning phase included content alignment across all speakers and support in refining messaging to ensure consistency.

Website - landing page

A dedicated landing page was developed to host all relevant information about the webinar. This included speaker bios, event context, practical details, and a user-friendly registration form. The page served as the central destination for all communication efforts and helped convert interest into confirmed attendance.

Social media campaign

WIT Berry rolled out a targeted social media campaign across key platforms to announce the event, introduce the speakers, and share engaging content leading up to the webinar. This campaign helped build awareness, boost visibility, and drive registrations — ensuring a broad and relevant audience.

Other activities

In addition to social media, we leveraged the networks of project partners through coordinated announcements across their own channels. This included newsletters, press releases, and outreach to industry-specific media outlets, all of which helped extend the reach and credibility of the event.

Post-event activities

After the webinar, we continued to build value from the event content. All presentations were recorded, transcribed, and transformed into accessible articles. These were shared across social media and other digital channels, and are now available on the official SALTO website. This post-event communication ensured long-term visibility of the content and helped reinforce the project’s impact.
